Genie Harper has enjoyed a lifetime with horses competing for over 40 years on the “A” circuit. She has had a very successful career, earning Championships at the prestigious indoor horse shows on the east coast as well as dozens of year end awards in state and national categories.

Since moving to Louisiana in 1982 Genie has had the pleasure of working with both juniors and adults of all levels. Her clients have won many yearend awards for LHJA, MHJA, WTHJA, MTHJA, Zone 7 of The USHJA and USEF Horse of the Year Award.

OAK HAVEN FARM

Established in 1982, Oak Haven Farm is located on 25 acres in Folsom, Louisiana and is the home of Rick and Genie Harper. The farm features a lighted indoor arena and all weather surfaced outdoor arena. The main barn has 14 stalls, a large tack room and two wash racks. Turnout paddocks are large, board fenced and each paddock has large shade trees and water.

Clients enjoy a very individualized program suited specifically to their needs, goals, and welfare of the horses.

OAK HAVEN FARM HORSE TRANSPORTATION

Featuring 15 horse air ride tractor trailers, Oak Haven Farm Horse Transportation is an ICC licensed and insured corporation that has authority to operate in the United States. Each trailer is equipped with an on board camera system that allows the drivers to observe the animals throughout the trip. Our routes are always direct to limit the time your horse is in transit.

Whether it’s a broodmare with her newborn foal, yearlings headed for a sale, or show horses off to compete, rest assured that your horse or pony will be handled in the most professional manner by qualified drivers and horsemen.
