VACAVILLE, CA: It's a beautiful morning at Christiane Noelting's Dressage Center (known as CNDC) as horses are tacked up to be ridden by a working student, a client or by Christiane herself. The rest of the horses make contented chortles as they anticipate breakfast from barn manager Robin who makes her rounds with the feed cart.

Noelting started the facility in 1999 and has developed it into a world class training barn and breeding operation. Located in a rural part of the Northern California Bay Area, CNDC is an 80 acre irrigated, full-care equestrian center that is about mid way between Sacramento, California and San Francisco, but has students coming from as far away as San Jose and Reno NV.

Noelting is a Dressage trainer and Sport Horse Breeder primarily but also has weeknight vaulting lessons that keep the local kids hopping! CNDC is hosting the “Dressage Derby I — V”, as well as the “Pacific Sporthorse Selection”, a European style auction offering selected Dressage horses and Hunter Jumpers.

Born in Germany, Noelting started riding at the age of 15 and had an all around equestrian education with Dressage being her main interest. Christiane trained with Juergen Koschel and Herbert Rehbein as well as other wonderful instructors and trainers. She passed the test for the bronze and silver medals in Germany and was awarded the FN Plaque for Special Achievement for many years of successful teaching, training and showing. Christiane was an architect before she made her hobby, riding, to her profession.
